Multi-country Payroll Awards |

The Awards - announced during Webster Buchanan's Second Annual Multi-country Payroll Summit in London, UK - are made on a merit rather than competitive basis, and recognize areas that Webster Buchanan sees as priorities in multi-country payroll. Awards categories include delivering value through pragmatism; managing transformational change; optimizing performance; and acquiring, retaining and developing high-performing teams. The recipients of the inaugural Awards were: Change Management Award to Chris Lomer of Avery Dennison, for best practice in transformational change Optimizing Performance Award to Aditya Kohli of Standard Chartered Bank, for best practice in optimizing performance Value through Pragmatism Award to Ray Porter and Fiona Shinnors of Dell, for delivering value by taking a pragmatic approach to tackling business challenges Change Management Award to Grace Lee of Control Components Inc for best practice in transformational change The Awards were presented by the chair of the judging panel, Michelle Whitfield, director of EMEA and APAC Payroll at Honeywell (pictured), and Nick Parfitt, Global Account Manager of ADP, which sponsored the Awards evening. "Given the many challenges involved in multi-country payroll, it's fantastic to be able to recognize companies that are making great progress with their international payroll projects," said Michelle Whitfield. "Multi-country payroll is a long journey with many potential pitfalls, and we need to acknowledge the successes as we go along." "Webster Buchanan has focused on helping companies tackle the challenges of multi-country payroll for many years, and our Multi-country Payroll Best Practice Awards are a new and valuable step in our efforts to help companies share experiences," said Keith Rodgers, co-founder of Webster Buchanan Research. In addition to Michelle Whitfield, the panel of judges included Deborah Timberlake, independent global payroll consultant, and Keith Rodgers, co-founder of Webster Buchanan Research. Webster Buchanan's Multi-country Payroll Best Practice Awards will be made twice a year, with the next Awards ceremony taking place in San Francisco in October. A report detailing the projects carried out by the four Awards winners will be published by Webster Buchanan Research in June.
